Finding The Doorway
For years, I've been looking for this invisible door that culture or religion has been talking about and preaching. This word called enlightenment, or being saved, or becoming all-knowing. All I ever wanted was to find that door between me and the true me. Not the negative voice, not the one comparing left and right, right and wrong, blue and red, or life and death, but the door between this life and the energy. Since I have been meditating for over 40 years, I have always looked for the doorway of the universe.
Every religion talks about it; every great thinker alludes to it; every great society, culture, and group says they have the answer. But the ones that have been picked out of history as our leaders and have been chosen by history to be these great saviors. The people who recorded these great men and women throughout history have covered it with mystery and fake knowledge to muddy the path and keep us from finding the door to see behind the veil of our true selves.
In these forty years of meditation, I have prayed, chanted, hummed, opened my body through movement, sat still until it became pain, and then sat a little longer, held my breath until I came close to passing out, held my breath in until I thought I was going to explode. Meditated with my tongue on the roof of my mouth and without, only to find that secret door.
I have pondered: Is the door there? Is the veil real? Is there a place beyond what we call life, or our opinion of what life is, or do our eyes close and our heart stop, our lungs deflate, and we go into the eternal nap? Or could this door be a metaphor for a state of consciousness accessible through inner work?
Then I realized this doorway might not be a doorway at all. As you look through ancient and not-so-ancient texts and records, they talk about the pineal gland. From the beginning of time, they've described it as a spot in the center of the brain that, when activated, releases chemicals that change how you perceive yourself and the world. This mystery invited me to explore a hidden part of yourself that holds great potential.
Now, healthcare is trying to activate the pineal gland with drugs and herbs. Ancient people have been doing this for thousands of years. They used herbs, along with the practice I mentioned above.
Maybe the doorway I am looking for is more about how I stimulate the pineal gland to create the chemical that frees the mind. Maybe these saviors, gurus, and prophets weren't special, but were influenced by freeing their minds by activating the pineal gland, and history recorded it to enslave the people who fell under its spell. I have the power to activate this gland and unlock my potential.
This gland is ours to activate; find your path. Some people will read this, not understand, and fear will overcome them; others will read it and not care or not want to know, for you reading this and finding it calling you into wanting more. Find your path, find your door, and create beyond your weirdest truths.
